The top five

1. The Bible*

…God’s love letter to us. Go to The Bible in the index. Explore my favorite scriptures. Consider big questions and answers in this post. For more, read this post from Wrap-up to the end.

*Not sure where to start reading the Bible? Read about Jesus in the book of John. Then consider reading Acts. Pray and ask God…. Some of my Old Testament favorites include Psalm—read one Psalm per day, Nehemiah, Esther and Ruth. Some of my New Testament favorites include Philippians, Ephesians, Romans and James.

I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your Name
for your loving kindness and for your truth;
for you have exalted your Name and your word above all.
Psalm 138:2, New Heart English Bible

2. Psalm 91  by Peggy Joyce Ruth
