This four-part series watches more like a Hollywood news exposé than a documentary. Beware. America’s War on Drugs is actually a logic test. Certain facts will be presented, followed by a statement about the alleged motive involved. The primary postulation being that the CIA participates actively in the drug trade due to the higher call of stopping communism. I don’t believe that for a second. As you watch, separate the facts from the assertions. Be very clear about the difference between the two types of “information.” Receive the facts, verify them if you’d like, and determine for yourself what they mean. Also, ask what pertinent facts were left out and what that means. Use your own brain. Use it wisely. Use it critically.
